Friends of Steinert High School Jazz Program Friends of Steinert High School Jazz Program is the official support group of Steinert High School's Jazz Band Program. The organization encourages and promotes the advancement of jazz literature by providing administrative, financial, and logistical support to the Jazz Band Director. Membership in the organization is open to Parents/Guardians, Alumni, and Friends who support the purpose of the Jazz Band's program and its activities. Annual membership in the organization is $5 per person. Members convene monthly to assist the Director in organizing and developing strategies for the program’s Annual Jazz Band Festival, special events, and fundraisers. Friends of Steinert High School Jazz Program is governed by a 5-member Executive Committee that is elected to a 1-year term at the November General Meeting.
